EVERYDAY MAKEUP

I thought I'd delve into the world of make up! Not something I'm very good at I do add, but not to worry as it's not a make up tutorial or anything spectacular. These products are just items I use on a day to day basis. My make up used to be very minimal with foundation and mascara, only. Lately I've been experimenting with liquid liner and contouring and highlighting too. I feel a lot more confident within myself and I love putting it all on. So here are the goodies that I reach for...

These are the brushes I use for blending my foundation in and to contour and highlight. I use the Real Techniques Stippling Brush to do my foundation. I use this by doing circular brush movements in order to blend all my foundation in. The next brush by Revlon I use for my contouring and blush and highlighting! This brush is called the Revlon Blush Brush, a tongue twister!

I'll apply my Revlon Colorstay in 110 Ivory which is also the Normal/Dry skin foundation. I'd highly recommend this if you have pale skin. I always used to find most foundations way too dark for my skin tone as I'm so pale. Revlon Colorstay foundations have the perfect shades!

Next on my agenda in the morning is tackling the under eye area I do this by using Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I only really do this if I'm going somewhere important. I try not to use this on blemishes as I just think more bacteria is being pumped into the blemish which worries me as I have problematic skin as it is. I blend this using my fingers.

So here's where I've only recently just got into the contouring and highlighting business! I've been wanting to try this for a while to see if I can tell a difference. I wanted a bronzer that has no sheen to it for ages but most of the ones on the high street seem to have a bit of sparkle in them. Whenever I've thought bronzer and highlighter I've always thought of Sleek! So taking their 3 for 2 offer by stride in my local Superdrug I picked this bad boy up in 'Light'. I have pale skin and I wandered if this would be too orange but surprisingly I only use a tiny bit and it all looks fine. So this is the, Sleek Face Contour Kit.

Before I apply my mascara and liquid liner I find it super important that I curl my eyelashes. I find that my eyelashes really aren't naturally curled. This makes me sad but with this wonderful tool I can achieve curly lashes. This eyelash curler is the £1.99 Superdrug Eyelash Curler.

After I've used my eyelash curler I then take the L'Oreal Superliner Black I do a bad attempt at trying to make my winged eyeliner match up... Do take notice I did say bad attempt, ha! After this I take the Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara and give my eyelashes way too many coats of mascara than I should... I'm a sucker for mascara. I just can't help it, haha. That is everything I do, if I'm going out I may add a touch of lipstick. More to come on lipstick soon in another post! Thanks for sticking with me.
